Zig Zag Illusion

Here is the Zig Zag, invented by Robert Harbin.  This is one of the most popular illusions created.

Effect: The magician displays a beautiful upright box with an artistic design of a girl on the front.  The doors are opened and the assistant enters the box.  The box has a face hole in the top section, which the assistants face is placed into.  One hand it placed thru a hole next to her head.  Her other hand is placed in a hole in the center section along with a small door to show her costume. Then her foot is placed thru the bottom section out a cutout in the door.  After the doors are secured shut, the magician places 2 blades thru the box, dividing the cabinet into 3 sections. Then the magician proceeds to push the center section out to the side, completely separating the assistant into 3 pieces.  Remember, the face, hands, body and feet are always in clear view to the audience.

After the cabinet is rotated around showing all sides, the boxes are returned to their original position.  The box is opened up and the assistant emerges unharmed.

We have made over 60 Zig Zag Illusions. Our post upright breaks into 3 sections so there is no long upright to travel with.  Our version is made in 2 ways. Either hinged to collapse or the solid box version, whereas the 3 sections come apart but the 3 sections are solid.  There is a base included with the illusion. custom graphics are available.
